ROADS

Roads, is a 22 minute riveting fiction directed by Lior Geller. In Hebrew and Arabic with English subtitles, Roads brings together two Palestinian children caught-up in drug running and a tormented Israeli addict seeking redemption. Each is searching for a way out from violence and rage.

PINCHAS

Pinchas is an endearing story of a young immigrant boy searching for a sense of belonging and identity. This 32 minute fiction in Hebrew and Russian with English subtitles is both entertaining and charming, while exposing social issues and divides.

DARK NIGHT

Short TAU Student Film, Israel, 2005 30 minutes, in Hebrew and Arabic with English subtitles.
Written and Directed by Leon Prudovsky.

Dark Night is a 30 minute gripping drama that throws the audience into a state of unrelenting suspense. In Hebrew and Arabic with English subtitles, the film opens when two lost Israeli soldiers take refuge in a Palestinian home. The tragedy of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict unfolds as compassion and humanity dance with entrenched fear and mistrust.

SECOND WATCH

Short TAU Student Film, Israel, 1995 15 minutes, in Hebrew and Arabic with English subtitles.
Written and Directed by Udi Ben Arie.

Second Watch is the humorous story of two soldiers “on watch” who find a way to communicate and have some fun. Berkowitz, an Israeli Reserve soldier is guarding a remote post along the Israeli/Jordanian border. Just a few yards away is an equally bored Jordanian soldier. This 15 minute fiction in Hebrew and Arabic with English subtitles is an irresistible comic exercise that speaks volumes about some truths underlying life in the Middle East.
